Yttrium orthovanadate

Yttrium orthovanadate (YVO4) is a transparent crystal.Undoped YVO4 is also used to make efficient high-power polarizing prisms similar to Glan–Taylor prisms.[1] There are two principal applications for doped yttrium orthovanadate:
