Ridgecrest is a census-designated place (CDP) in Pinellas County, Florida, United States.[5] According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.5 km2 (0.6 mi2), of which 1.5 km2 (0.6 mi2) is land and 1.75% is water.As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 2,453 people, 781 households, and 623 families residing in the CDP.There were 781 households, out of which 39.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 32.5% were married couples living together, 41.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 20.2% were non-families.15.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
