Oakland, Oregon

Oakland is a city in Douglas County, Oregon, United States, located 2 miles (3 km) from Interstate 5.The city's two-block business district consists of the original brick buildings built in the 1880s and 1890s.[7] Several films have been shot in Oakland, including Fire in the Sky, Didi's Last Wish,[8] and Grand Tour: Disaster in Time.According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.73 square miles (1.89 km2), all of it land.[9] Calapooya Creek, a tributary of the Umpqua River, flows by Oakland.[10] This region experiences warm (but not hot) and dry summers, with no average monthly temperatures above 71.6 °F (22.0 °C).
