North Zanesville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Muskingum County, Ohio, United States, just north of the city of Zanesville, along the Muskingum River.According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.6 square miles (9.3 km2), all land.As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 3,013 people, 1,223 households, and 917 families residing in the CDP.There were 1,262 housing units at an average density of 351.4 per square mile (135.7/km2).21.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
