Gratiot (/ˈɡreɪʃɒt/ GRAY-shot[5]) is a village in Licking and Muskingum counties in the U.S. state of Ohio.[6] According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.13 square miles (0.34 km2), all land.The racial makeup of the village was 98.6% White, 0.5% African American, and 0.9% from two or more races.The racial makeup of the village was 98.40% White, 1.07% African American, and 0.53% from two or more races.About 11.1% of families and 9.3% of the population were below the poverty line, including 11.3% of those under the age of eighteen and 11.5% of those sixty five or over.
