Hartford (also called Croton) is a village in the township of the same name in Licking County, Ohio, United States.[5] According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.55 square miles (1.42 km2), all land.The racial makeup of the village was 99.0% White, 0.3% African American, 0.5% Asian, and 0.3% from other races.26.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.16.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
