CKXA-FM
CKXA-FM (101.1 MHz) is a radio station in Brandon, Manitoba.In 1947 the provincial government announced that it was leaving the radio business.The following year CKX was purchased by a group of Brandon businessmen headed by John B. Craig, managing director of Western Manitoba Broadcasters.In 2001, CKXA changed to a Top 40/CHR format under the name Hot 101, similar to owner Craig Broadcasting's CKMM-FM in Winnipeg.In 2007, Astral Media acquired CKXA as part of its purchase of Standard Broadcasting.
