The 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards was held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on April 1, 2024, and broadcast live on Fox.During the ceremony Cher was honored with the Icon Award for her "unparalleled contributions to music and pop culture for over seven decades".Other presenters for the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards included: Avril Lavigne, GloRilla, Jared Leto, Jennifer Hudson, JoJo Siwa, Katy Perry, Latto, Meghan Trainor, Meryl Streep, Niecy Nash-Betts, Peso Pluma, Ravi Patel, T-Pain, and Vella Lovell.[8] Socially Voted Categories opened on January 18 and ended on March 25 on iHeartRadio's website.[10][11] For the first time in the history of the awards ceremony, new categories were introduced for pop and K-pop music.
