Mario Bowleg

Mario Keith Bowleg is a Bahamian Progressive Liberal Party politician, who has been Minister of Sports Youth and Culture and the Member of Parliament for Garden Hills since 2021.[1] Bowleg was announced as the PLP candidate for Garden Hills in February 2021.[2] He defeated the FNM candidate and businessman Stephen Greenslade, flipping the seat.[5] He is responsible for driving youth development, sports, and cultural initiatives in the Bahamas.As minister, Bowleg relaunched the Fresh Start Program in Grand Bahama, providing training and job readiness skills to young people.
