John E. Halsell

John Edward Halsell (September 11, 1826 – December 26, 1899) was a U.S. Representative from Kentucky.Halsell was elected circuit judge of the fourth judicial district of Kentucky in 1870.He served as chairman of the Committee on Private Land Claims (Forty-ninth Congress).He was interred in Fair View Cemetery, Bowling Green, Kentucky.This article incorporates public domain material from the Biographical Directory of the United States Congress
