Dan Ige
Daniel Alexander Ige (/ˈiːɡeɪ/ EE-gay; born August 6, 1991) is an American professional mixed martial artist who currently competes in the featherweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).He then rattled off six straight victories competing for various regional promotions including a win on Dana White's Contender Series 3.[10] Ige signed with the UFC after earning a victory on Dana White's Contender Series (DWCS).[11] Ige remained on the card and faced fellow newcomer and DWCS alum Julio Arce.[14] Ige faced promotional newcomer Jordan Griffin on December 15, 2018, at UFC on Fox 31.[28] Ige was scheduled to face Ryan Hall on March 13, 2021, at UFC Fight Night 187.[46] However, Murphy pulled out in mid January due to an undisclosed injury,[47] and he was replaced by Andre Fili.[51] However, Brito was forced to pull from the event due to a leg injury[52] and was replaced by Chepe Mariscal.[54] Ige, replacing Brian Ortega on a few hours notice, faced Diego Lopes on June 29, 2024, at UFC 303 at a catchweight of 165 pounds.
