Chilhowee is a town in south central Johnson County, Missouri, United States.[8] According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.38 square miles (0.98 km2), all land.The racial makeup of the village was 95.4% White, 0.9% Native American, and 3.7% from two or more races.28.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.39.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 23.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
