Canada competed at the 1932 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, United States. Despite the economic hardships of the Great Depression, the nation managed to send its second-largest delegation up to that time. The team consisted of 102 competitors—85 men and 17 women—who participated in 69 events across 10 different sports.
The Canadian team faced significant logistical challenges due to the global economic downturn of the 1930s, yet maintained a strong competitive presence. Canadian Olympic Committee member W. A. Fry later documented the nation's efforts at both the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid and the Summer Games in his 1933 publication, Canada at the tenth Olympiad, 1932.
Canadian athletes earned a total of 15 medals during the Los Angeles Games, showcasing notable successes in athletics, boxing, sailing, rowing, and wrestling.
Beyond the podium finishes, Canadian competitors took part in several other disciplines, including cycling, diving, fencing, swimming, and art competitions. Seven male cyclists represented the country, while fencing featured four men and one woman.
