Zef Mirdita

Zef Mirdita (March 13, 1936 – April 4, 2016) was an Albanian historian, university professor and academic.[1] He has made a significant contribution to the fields of Illyrology and Balkan studies.In 1966, he returned to his hometown as a professor at the high school in Prizren, where he taught history, sociology and French.[1] In 1993, Mirdita left Kosovo and continued his scientific activity in Croatia, as a scientific advisor at the Institute of History (1993–1997) and then as a lecturer of ancient history at the University "J.J. Strossmayer" of Osjek, Croatia (1997–2007).He participated in many scientific congresses and lectured in several university centers as a guest professor.
