United States House of Representatives elections in the District of Columbia

The District of Columbia is a political division coterminous with Washington, D.C., the capital city of the United States.Norton P. Chipman served two terms as the district's delegate until Congress abolished the territorial government in 1874.This took place eight months after the Supreme Court's ruling on District of Columbia v.
