Thor C. Tollefson

Thor Carl Tollefson (May 2, 1901 – December 30, 1982) was an American attorney and politician who was a U.S. representative for Washington's 6th congressional district from 1947 to 1965.Born in Perley, Minnesota, Tollefson moved to Tacoma, Washington, in 1912.[4] Tollefson was later appointed director of the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.He was also a special assistant to the Governor of Washington in charge of international fisheries negotiations.This article incorporates public domain material from the Biographical Directory of the United States Congress
