Sir John Louis, 2nd Baronet

Admiral Sir John Louis, 2nd Baronet (1785 – 31 March 1863) was an officer in the Royal Navy.[1] In February of 1801, he again joined the Minotaur 74 and by April 21, was made Lieutenant by his father.On December 14 1804, 12 months after he had joined the Royal George 100, flag-ship in the Mediterranean of Sir Kich.In 1837 he was appointed Captain Superintendent of Woolwich Dockyard and also to the command of the William and Mary yacht.He is buried with his wife, Maria Clementina (né Kirkpatrick), and son, Thomas Louis, in Kensal Green Cemetery in London.
