Scampston

Scampston is a village and civil parish in North Yorkshire, England.It lies close to the A64 road, approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) east of Malton.Until 1974, the village lay in the historic county boundaries of the East Riding of Yorkshire.Set within the beautiful parkland of Scampston Hall.On 1 April 1935 the parish of Knapton was abolished and merged with Scampston.
