Safiullah Khan Tanoli

Safiullah Khan served as the tehsil collector of Abbottabad under British Raj, appointed by the Governor of Khyber George Roos-Keppel, and later became the Minister of Defence of the Nawab of Amb.[1] He fought in the Battle of Chamla and in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947–1948.He spent his youth in France, Germany and London.[citation needed] He also worked with Syed Abdul Jabbar Shah.He controlled all the police stations of Darband, Amb.
