Roebuck, South Carolina

Roebuck is a census-designated place (CDP) in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, United States.[5] The community was named for Revolutionary War Officer, Benjamin Roebuck.[6] Roebuck is home to the Walnut Grove Plantation, a preserved 18th-century farmhouse and tourist attraction.One of the daughters of the original owners, Kate Moore, was a scout for General Daniel Morgan during the Battle of Cowpens.[8] According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 4.3 square miles (11.1 km2), all land.
