Robert M. Switzer

Robert Mauck Switzer (March 6, 1863 – October 28, 1952) was an American educator, lawyer and politician who served four terms as a U.S. Representative from Ohio from 1911 to 1919.Born near Gallipolis, Ohio, Robert Switzer attended the district schools, Gallia Academy, and Rio Grande College.He was admitted to the bar in 1892 and commenced practice in Gallipolis, Ohio.He died in Gallipolis, Ohio, on October 28, 1952, and he was interred in Mound Hill Cemetery.This article incorporates public domain material from the Biographical Directory of the United States Congress
