[1] The Hervey Range Developmental Road runs along the southern boundary.[4] The suburb was named and bounded on 28 February 2003.[2] In the 2016 census, Rangewood had a population of 1,057 people.[5] In the 2021 census, Rangewood had a population of 1,084 people.The nearest government primary school is Thuringowa State High School in Condon to the south-east.
