Pettus is a census-designated place (CDP) in Bee County, Texas, United States.According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 5.8 square miles (15.1 km2), all land.[15] As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 608 people, 223 households, and 169 families residing in the CDP.There were 257 housing units at an average density of 44.3 per square mile (17.1/km2).22.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
