Paraguay at the 2024 Summer Olympics

Note that reserves in football are not counted: Paraguayan athletes achieved the entry standards, either by qualifying time or by world ranking, in the following track and field events (up to a maximum of 3 athletes in each event):[2][3][4] Key: Paraguay men's football team qualified for the Olympics following the triumph of the champion title at the 2024 CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament in Venezuela, marking the nation's return to the sport, after the last participation in 2004.[7] Gatito Fernández and Fabián Balbuena were added to the squad on 9 July, replacing the injured Ángel González and Gustavo Caballero.[9] On 23 July, Diego González withdrew injured and was replaced by Gustavo Caballero, while Ángel Cardozo Lucena was called-up as an alternate player.[16] Paraguayan rowers qualified two boats, each in the men's and women's single sculls for the Games, through the 2024 Americas Qualification Regatta in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.[17] Paraguay women's pair qualified for Paris after winning the 2024 CSV Continental Cup Final in Asunción, marking the nation's debut in the sport.
