Namibia women's national cricket team
Namibia made its international debut at the 2004 ICC Africa Women's Twenty20 Championship in Tanzania, but failed to win a match.[5] The team's closest result came in the opening match against Kenya, where they were bowled out for 106, and eventually lost by five wickets.[8] After their debut, Namibia did not compete in another Africa-wide tournament until the 2011 ICC Africa Women's Twenty20 Championship in Uganda.[11] Namibia finished top of the table, winning all five group stage matches[12] and won the final against Sierra Leone by a margin of nine wickets.[19] Namibia were named in the 2021 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier regional group, alongside ten other teams.
