Monochamus ruspator is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae.It was described by Johan Christian Fabricius in 1781, originally under the genus Lamia.It has a wide distribution throughout Africa, and is also present in Kazakhstan.[1] The species Murzinia karatauensis was described from Kazakhstan in 2011, but was later determined to be a synonym of Monochamus ruspator.It was found in Kzyl-Orda Region, Chiili District, North Karatau Ridge, Daut Mountain.
