Marxist Co-ordination Committee

The Marxist Co-ordination Committee (MCC, Bengali: মার্কসবাদী সমন্বয় সমিতি, Hindi: मार्क्सवादी समन्वय समिति, abbreviated मासस 'maasas') was a political party in Jharkhand, India, based around the coal mining region of Dhanbad.CPI(ML)L held its first meeting after the merger on 10–11 September where five MCC leaders were inducted into its central committee.He is a prominent trade union leader in the Dhanbad region and is the President of Bihar Pradesh Colliery Mazdoor Congress.In 1998, the only member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly representing the MCC, Gurudas Chatterjee, was murdered by the coal mafia.[1][3] On 11 September 2024, MCC party General Secretary Comrade Arup Chatterjee selected as new Central Committee member of CPIML(L).
