Marko Koers

Marko Ewout Koers (born November 3, 1972, in Molenhoek, Limburg) is a retired middle distance runner from the Netherlands, who represented his native country at three consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1992.Koers won the silver medal in the 800 metres at the 1998 European Indoor Athletics Championships, behind Germany's Nils Schumann.He won the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships – Men's 1,500 meter run while competing for the Illinois Fighting Illini.This biographical article relating to Dutch athletics is a stub.You can help Wikipedia by expanding it.
