Marion E. Rhodes

Marion Edwards Rhodes (January 4, 1868 – December 25, 1928) was a U.S. Representative from Missouri's 13th congressional district.Born on a farm near Glen Allen, Missouri, Rhodes attended the public schools and Will Mayfield College.He was graduated from the State normal school at Cape Girardeau, Missouri, in 1891 and from Stansbury College in 1893.He was admitted to the bar in 1896 and commenced practice in Potosi, Washington County, Missouri, in 1898.He was appointed assistant to the Comptroller General of the United States in Washington, D.C., and served from April 1, 1923, until his death in that city, December 25, 1928.
