Liberty Township, Hancock County, Ohio

Liberty Township Has a fire department Called Liberty TWP FD and has a highschool named Liberty Benton Highshcool Located in the central part of the county, it borders the following municipalities: It is one of twenty-five Liberty Townships statewide.[4] Liberty township has two Hancock Park District parks, Litzenberg Memorial Woods and Oakwoods Nature Preserve.In addition, it has the Liberty Landing canoe access to the Blanchard River.[5] The 20-mile Heritage Trail runs through Liberty township.[6] The township is governed by a three-member board of trustees, who are elected in November of odd-numbered years to a four-year term beginning on the following January 1.
