Keshan County
Keshan (Chinese: 克山; pinyin: Kèshān) is a county in western Heilongjiang province, China, about 100 km (62 mi) northeast of Qiqihar, which administers it.Its total area is 3,632 square kilometres (1,402 sq mi), with a population of 460,000.[when?]Keshan has a humid continental climate (Köppen Dwa/Dwb), with long, bitterly cold, but dry winters, and humid, very warm summers.A majority of the annual precipitation falls in July and August alone.There are seven towns and eight townships in the county:[4][5] Towns: Townships: 2 Formally part of Oroqen Banner in Inner Mongolia but administered de facto by Daxing'anling Prefecture in Heilongjiang.
