Karimganj College

The college has total 19 departments and centres covering science and mathematics, commerce and humanities.Other office bearers and Class Representatives are elected annually from amongst the student who act under supervision of professors-in-charge of different sections.[citation needed] In 2024, NSUI defeat ABVP in colleges student union election.Assam Congress's Bhupen bora had campaigned for NSUI in that election.After defeated by NSUI, ABVP sat on a dharna stating the result were manipulated and demanded a recounting, but no any step was taken by authorities, resulting in boycott of oath taking ceremony by ABVP.
