Holtby

Holtby is a small village and civil parish in the unitary authority of the City of York in North Yorkshire, England.The village is mentioned in the Domesday Book as Boltebi in the Bulford hundred in the possession of the King.[7] According to the 2001 census the parish had a population of 152, of which 111 were over sixteen years of age and 67 of those were in employment.[5] In addition to the church, there are six other Grade II Listed Buildings within the village.[9] There is a Grade II listed church in the village dedicated to the Holy Trinity which was rebuilt in 1792 and repaired in 1841 and 1881.
