Hilton Brown (swimmer)

Hilton Wallace Brown (born 13 December 1946) is a New Zealand swimming coach and former competitive swimmer who won a bronze medal for his country at the 1966 British Empire and Commonwealth Games.[1] In 1970, he married Catherine Margison, and the couple went on to have three children.[1] At the 1966 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston, Brown won the bronze medal in the men's 440 yards medley relay, alongside David Gerrard, Tony Graham, and Paddy O'Carroll.[5] Brown went on to have a career as a swimming coach, and coached New Zealand representatives including Paul Kingsman, Anthony Mosse, and triathlete Rick Wells.This biographical article related to a New Zealand swimmer is a stub.
