Dave Rible
David P. Rible (born August 28, 1967) is an American Republican Party politician, who has served as Director of the New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control since July 2017.He had previously served in the New Jersey General Assembly representing the 30th Legislative District from January 10, 2012 until July 17, 2017, when he was appointed as Director of the ABC.[1] Rible retired from the Wall Township Police Department in 1998 at age 31 due to a back injury that left him "totally and permanently disabled" and qualified him for an enhanced pension of $54,000 in addition to his salary as a legislator.[2] He remains the chairman of the Wall Township Patrolmen's Benevolent Association's fundraising committee after serving as the organization's treasurer and president.[4] On June 15, 2017, Rible was nominated by Governor Chris Christie to be Director of the New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
