It was released on 10 January 2025 as part of the album for the Ethnikós Telikós 2025, which it later won, and thus will represent Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.[2] The Ethnikós Telikós 2025 was organised by the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) to select its entry for that year's Eurovision Song Contest.On 10 January 2025, during the ERT1 show Proian se eidon, it was announced that Klavdia would compete in the Greek national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, dubbed Ethnikós Telikós 2025, with the song "Asteromata" (Αστερομάτα).[8] The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will take place at St. Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland, and will consist of two semi-finals to be held on the respective dates of 13 and 16 May and the final on 17 May 2025.[9] During the allocation draw held on 28 January 2025, Greece was drawn to compete in the second semi-final, performing in the first half of the show.
