Alazon, Nevada

Alazon is an extinct town in Elko County, in the U.S. state of Nevada.[2] In the early 1900s, Alazon consisted of a school, a section house and a homes for railroad employees.[6] The switchover configuration had been in operation during World War I and tested again for three years in the 1950s.[6] After the switchover, only section crews and their families resided at Alazon.This Elko County, Nevada state location article is a stub.
