Administrative divisions of Crimea

The Republic of Crimea continues to use the administrative divisions of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and is further divided into 14 districts (raions) and 11 city municipalities, officially known as territories governed by city councils.According to the new divisions, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea only consists of ten districts (raions).Under both the Russian (post-April 2014) and the Ukrainian (pre-April 2014) administrative systems, the territory of Crimea excludes the City of Sevastopol.According to the reform of administrative divisions of Ukraine, the municipalities were abolished, and the number of raions reduced.[7][8] The Autonomous Republic of Crimea has no municipal divisions, as the concept does not exist in Ukraine.
