[1][2] A right-handed top-order batsman and occasional leg spin bowler, Jones made his List A debut in January 2016, playing against the Leeward Islands in the 2015–16 Regional Super50.[15] Jones made his ODI debut for the United States on 27 April 2019, against Papua New Guinea, in the tournament's third-place playoff.[16] In June 2019, he was named in a 30-man training squad for the United States cricket team, ahead of the Regional Finals of the 2018–19 ICC T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier tournament in Bermuda.[18] In August 2019, he was named in the United States' squad for the Regional Finals of the 2018–19 ICC T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier tournament.[22] In October 2021, he was named as the vice-captain of the American squad for the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier tournament in Antigua.
