2027 FIFA Women's World Cup qualification (CONMEBOL)

The South American section of the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup qualification will act as qualifiers for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup to be held in Brazil for national teams who are members of the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL).A total of 2 direct slots and 2 inter-confederation play-off slots are available for CONMEBOL teams.[1] On 13 December 2024, CONMEBOL announced that a new qualifying tournament would take place with 9 teams (excluding Brazil who are qualified automatically as hosts) playing a single round-robin consisting of 8 games each, 4 at home and 4 away.[2] 9 national teams from CONMEBOL will enter qualification.at start of qualifiers
