2017–18 Louisville Cardinals women's basketball team
The Cardinals, led by 11th-year head coach Jeff Walz, played their home games at the KFC Yum!They defeated Virginia Tech, NC State, and Notre Dame to win the ACC women's tournament.As a result, they received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA women's tournament.1 seed in the Lexington region, they defeated Boise State and Marquette to advance to the Sweet Sixteen.They received an at-large bid for the NCAA women's tournament and advanced to the Sweet Sixteen where they lost to Baylor.
