Estonian Figure Skating Championships
The Estonian Figure Skating Championships (Estonian: Eesti Meistrivõistlused) are held annually to crown the national champions of Estonia.Skaters compete in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance at the senior, junior, and novice levels, although not every discipline is held every year due to a lack of participants.The event is organized by the Estonian Skating Union, the sport's national governing body.The Estonian Championships were first held in Tallinn in 1917.In 1991, after the restoration of independence, the Estonian Skating Union was founded and admitted as a provisional member of the International Skating Union.
