2018-19 Hungarian Women's Water Polo League Season

The 2018–19 Országos Bajnokság I marked the 36th season of the Országos Bajnokság I, Hungary's premier women's water polo league.

Nine clubs participated in the premier league competition during this campaign, engaging in a regular season followed by a structured final playoff round to determine the national champion.

The competition featured clubs representing various regions and municipalities of Hungary, with a notable concentration of teams based in the capital city.

Regular Season and Playoff Structure

The regular season established team seedings for the subsequent championship playoffs. Matches throughout the season highlighted competitive fixtures between prominent clubs such as BVSC and FTC.

Final Round and Championship Playoffs

The postseason structure included quarter-finals, semi-finals, placement matches, and the championship final series.

• Semi-finals: UVSE-Hunguest Hotels defeated their opponents 2–0 in the series to advance to the finals, while Dunaújvárosi Egyetem-Maarsk Graphics advanced after a 2–1 series victory.
• Finals: UVSE-Hunguest Hotels claimed the championship title by winning the final series 3–0.
• Third Place: BVSC-Zugló Diapolo secured the third-place position in the league standings.
